Fuchs & Consorten establish state of the art data protection standard

In order to prevent data theft, Fuchs & Consorten use state of the art encryption programmes and sufficiently secure passwords.

Notebooks:

In order to make notebooks sufficiently secure when travelling and in public places, the system has been totally encrypted. Using the programme “TrueCrypt”, the hard disks have also been 256 Bit AES encrypted.

AES is approved in the USA for official documents of the highest level of secrecy. It makes it impossible to use the computer without entering a password before powering up. Data thieves are unable to view the files contained on it even by removing the hard disk.

USB sticks:

The programme “SecurStick” encrypts the USB sticks with a 256 Bit cipher in accordance with the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). If the USB stick is lost or stolen, the data stored on it remains unusable.
